Barcelona!

I'm finally going back to Barcelona!

Me and Adam got around to booking our weekend break to Barcelona for his Birthday (two weeks today)! He mentioned about a month ago he quite fancied going away for his birthday, then he eventually decided on Barcelona and today we finally got around to booking it.

We spent ages looking at different hotels on the Thomas Cook website, but we couldn't find anything that looked particularly great, in a good area and for a good price. We were about to give up but then Adam remembered lastminute.com. So we put in the dates we wanted to go and where, and the first hotel that came up at the top of the page was 50% of and FIVE star! We didn't even look at any others! It was a great price, good flight times and looks amazing. We decided we could sacrifice the not-so-great location because it was such a good deal. Plus there's a free shuttle into the centre of Barcelona and the airport. We also got what's called a deluxe room! The hotel's called Hesperia Tower.

I say I'm finally going back to Barcelona, because I went there on a day trip while on holiday in Salou with my family when I was 9. Except the day trip got called off after we'd seen the football stadium and half the zoo, because of a major thunder storm. The puddles on the floor were inched deep and the thunder was the loudest I've ever heard. I wasn't very happy though because we were in the zoo about to watch a dolphin show, and then we were going shopping. So I'm really excited about going back and getting to see all the things I didn't get to see first time around.
