I'm gonna write about all the things that make me happy, and also post pictures. It could be about anything. It might be something I saw, a song a heard or something I did. If I see something I'll take a photo and then write about it here later. Or if I find an old photo that makes me smile I'll write about that.
This brings together two of my favourite things: journalism and photography.

Today's picture:
I took this photograph from my back garden a couple of years ago. It's not particularly special, but I love how I managed to capture a rainbow in a photograph. It's one of those things that you wish you had a camera with you for when you see it. I love rushing to look at rainbows when they appear in the sky, or seeing one on a rainy day. It's something that will make me smile to myself for no reason. Rainbows are so out of place, yet they look like they belong.
Sadly there was no pot of money at the end of it!

Gah I feel the same way about rainbows! Like they are absolutely beautiful, but at the same time seem like such a strange thing to exist!
