I saw an idea for making a memo board in a magazine, which I thought looked good. So I bought the few bits that I needed to have a go and this is how it came out:
It's simply made from an artists canvas and some ribbon. Took me a good couple of hours to make, but once I'd finished I was really pleased with how well it turned out I might even say I was proud of myself.
As well as writing I love crafty things. I've really taken to making birthday cards and I made all my Christmas cards. I love it when you think of an idea and then it looks good (or even better) when you've made it. Occasionally something won't turn out the way it did in my mind and I might get a bit annoyed. But I just come up with another idea and it'll turn out fine in the end. Last year I bought a scrapbook as another way I keeping my photographs, and also other memories such and concert tickets or anything that reminds me of a good time. I've only managed one or two pages so far but this year I'm hoping I'll find the time to do much more. It makes me happy to look back at photographs and I don't know how many photo albums I've got. So a scrap book is another way of bringing two of my loves together. I enjoy spending time designing a page and remembering the day of the picture or memory. It also keeps me busy as I can get bored easily!
So I guess it's a hobby of mine. Does anyone else have something like this that they do?

hehe you must remember the book I made for photos and gig tickets? I got all you guys to write comments through it! I loved doing that, but I haven't had time to keep up with it, and the amount of photos and tickets I have have gotten a tad out of control... I need to sort it all out! lol

Yeah i remember that, it was pretty cool! It's hard to find the time to do things like that sometimes!
It was really easy to make, you should have a go sometime if you happen to have a canvas, some ribbon and a couple of hours to spare!
